Terms of Use
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Vicetok ("we", "us"). By using the Vicetok app or this website you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Vicetok.
What Vicetok is
Vicetok is an app for watching and posting short fan clips of video games, and for asking and answering questions about them. Vicetok is a fan project. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by, or affiliated with, any game publisher or developer. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners and appear only in content posted by users.
Who can use it
- You must be at least 17 years old.
- You can watch and read as a guest. To post clips, comment, ask, answer, like, save or follow, you need to sign in with Apple or Google.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your Apple or Google login secure.
- You may not use Vicetok if we have banned you before, or if the law where you live does not allow it.
Your content
You keep ownership of the clips, captions, comments, questions and answers you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transcode, display, distribute and promote that content inside Vicetok and in share links and previews, for as long as it is on Vicetok. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or that others have already shared outside Vicetok.
Only post content you have the right to post. Gameplay footage you recorded yourself is usually fine for fan use, but you are responsible for following the game publisher's rules on videos and for any music or other material in your clip.
Rules
Do not post or do anything that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity in the real world;
- harasses, threatens, bullies or targets anyone, or shares someone's private information;
- is hateful toward people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits;
- is sexual or nude content, or any content that sexualises minors;
- shows real-world violence, self-harm or encourages either;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- is spam, scams, malware, fake engagement or misleading impersonation;
- shares cheats, exploits for sale, leaked or stolen material, or anything that breaks a game's terms in a way that harms other players;
- tries to break, overload, scrape or get around the security or limits of Vicetok.
Reports, blocks and moderation
You can report any clip, comment, question, answer or profile, and block any user, from inside the app. Blocking hides your content and theirs from each other. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, with or without notice. We do not check everything before it is posted, and we are not responsible for content posted by users.
Copyright
If you believe content on Vicetok infringes your copyright, send a notice as described on our Support page. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile. This removes your clips, comments, questions, answers and profile. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause or stop any part of Vicetok. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vicetok after that means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimers
Vicetok is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free or secure.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Vicetok is limited to 100 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Vicetok or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
